I designed this website so that you would learn about the three branches of government and how they relate to the United States Constitution. In order to understand how the three branches work and interact, you will examine how a bill becomes a law.

Tips about Navigating this Site:

Tabs: The tabs under the header will lead you to different pages so that you can learn about the Constitution, the way that a bill can become a law, the different branches of government, and more!

Arrows: You can click on the big, blue arrows to navigate this website. At the bottom of this page, click on the arrow to start at the "Constitution" page.

Key terms: Find the meaning of key terms by clicking on bolded, underlined words or by clicking on the "Glossary" tab above.

Links: Look for the tan words on other pages in order to find more information about a subject.

Class Assignment: Read the class assignment below. We will discuss it more in class. On the other pages, look for the maroon text and the words "Class Assignment" to read tips that will help you with this activity.

Class Assignment: You will have to discuss a proposed anti-bullying bill. After we learn about the American government, I will split you into three groups. One group is the Executive Branch, acting as the President. Another group is the Legislative Branch, acting as the United States Congress. The last group is the Judicial Branch, acting as the Supreme Court.

To learn more about bullying, click on the bolded word above or click on the "Glossary" tab.
